I’ll start off by sharing a quote from my first birthday cake post where I wrote, “next year I’ll be sticking to just the one tier…” – I clearly forgot the stress that cake put me under, so here we are again for round two of making my daughter a two tier birthday cake.
Another year also means another fun theme to follow and as she loves her snacks plus playing with her toy kitchen, I thought I’d go down the “Two Sweet” theme. I took to Pinterest of course to start pinning all my inspirations to a board and compiled all the ideas into this one cake. And here it is in all its glory!
Both tiers were made using mine and my mum’s trusty go-to recipe on Good Food which has always been able to withstand the weight of the fondant icing and decorations without looking like a sunken mess.
